  • Yin Yoga

Holding a pose in stillness and for a longer time is the magic ingredient of Yin Yoga. A practice that is derived from ancient Chinese and Taoist lineages, targeting the deeper tissues of the body including connective tissue, ligaments, tendons, and joint spaces.

Yin Yoga is mostly floor-based with the strong encouragement of props for support, as poses are held for 2-5 minutes. This is an ideal practice for restoration and to encourage a slower pace, mentally and physically.

  • Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a combination of both spiritual and physical practices utilising specialised breath techniques, repetition of movement. meditation and mantra (chanting). This ancient science allows for personal transformation and growth by working with the flow of Kundalini energy (personal potential) inherent in every body.

Kundalini yoga differs in special ways to a Vinyasa, Hatha or Yin practice. If you've not yet experienced Kundalini yoga, come with an open mind and know you will be completely guided along the way.

  • integrative qi gong

Qi Gong (chee goong) is an ancient health system from Traditional Chinese Medicine that combines integrated (slow) physical movement and mindfulness. It is suited to all ages and levels of fitness.

The practice is designed to guide and induce the free flow of energy Qi throughout the body, releasing tension and maintaining a sense of harmony to promote our health and a greater sense of well being.

Classes are closely aligned with our seasons and the 5 Element theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

“I invite you to explore these practices with me as a way to honour yourself and your unique energetic imprint and internal landscape. I often refer to my classes as a journey - physically, mentally & spiritually.”
